Vintage 1960’s Handmade Sleeveless Cocktail Shift in Brocade, Silk and Satin

Be still my vintage heart. I almost wept when I found this empire-waist dress. It reminded me so much of the amazing sewing talents of my grandmother and her attention to detail. It appears to have a silk-lined bodice and satin lined skirt with elegant hand-stitching throughout. The fabric is in a stunning brocade in coral/salmon shade with florals and gold accents. It screams cocktail party, wedding or a trip to the grocery store, because you are fierce and your fashion is out there for the world to see at all times! I’ve marked it as a size 12, but check the measurements. Note that it is brocade that is scratchy to the touch, but the lining offers amazing comfort. I’ve noted a stain on the bodice and this needs to be professionally cleaned or washed, although it is free of smells….yay!
