Valid question. I am a collector – not of plastic bottles – I collect Winnie the Pooh memorabilia. Over the years I have learned if there is something out there, someone collects it. Several year back I listed an empty Jergen’s lotion bottle from the 80s. It sold for $10+postage. I contacted the buyer to make sure she knew the bottle was empty. She said that was not a problem. She liked buying packing from items she had as a kid. They made her smile. That explanation made me smile. So Monday (yes there was still product in it as of Monday) I decided to sell the Rave hair spray bottle hoping a collector of 90s memorabilia or someone like the lady who bought the Jergen’s bottle might enjoy it. With the proceeds from the sale, I plan to buy a sign for my husband who accepts my Winnie the Pooh collecting with no issue but selling empty bottles makes his eyes roll. The sign will read: My Wife is Nuts! People will assume it is because of the Winnie the Pooh collection but my husband and the future owner of this 90s memorabilia will know the truth, Please share this post and have fun!
