Vintage Sterling Silver Sand Dollar with Doves Necklace J&C FERRARA RARE

This stunning handcrafted vintage sterling silver necklace by J&C Ferrara features a beautiful sterling silver sand dollar on a sterling chain with tiny sterling doves. This rare, precious piece is a vintage 1960’s work of art is symbolic of the sand dollar legend detailing that tiny shell doves are always found when a sand dollar is broken open, and can also be considered to be related to religious symbolism in a variety of ways. This hard-to-find piece has been cleaned in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner and by hand with a soft cloth, but has not been polished with any harsh cleaners. Marked STER and with the maker's mark on the back of the sand dollar, it is considered to be in Very Good Used VINTAGE Condition. Please see all pictures for details, condition, and size comps.
