Aynsley Bone China tea cup & saucer Pattern #B5304 This is a lovely tea cup and saucer set was made by Aynsley, manufacturer of fine bone china sets. The cup features a stunning floral border of blues, greens and pinks on the creamy yellow interior edging plus a fancy scalloped rim on both the cup and saucer. The saucer sports the same solid green color as the exterior of the cup. The floral design is typically called a Cabbage Rose, though that is more of a description than the actual pattern name. -Marked "England" with the Aynsley maker's mark -This pattern is B5304, which is hand painted on the bottom of the cup. You can find this pattern also made with other exterior colors. -Floral border is on the interior of the cup -Trimmed in gold along various edges of both pieces and also on the cup's handle -Backstamp style indicates that it was made circa 1939 -Cup is in a "corset" shape Beautiful condition. I bought some cup and saucer sets years ago at an estate sale of someone who most certainly was a collector, and I purchased most all of what she had for my "Tea Time" themed baby shower. I'm finally having to downsize, so I will have several sets listed over the next few weeks.
