Shorts Preppy Plaid Beaded by Randolph Duke for Martha Palm Beach Vintage 80s

These embellished preppy shorts are quality made by Randolph Duke, former swimwear and clothing designer at Halston - and were sold by high end boutique, Martha International, most likely in the late 80s or early 90s. Made from a soft wool plaid fabric (feels like a cashmere blend, however there is no content or care label), it's embellished with beads and is fully-lined. Super chic and can be styled in so many ways! Definitely a “Heathers” vibe going on! High waist/lined/dry clean only. Tagged size M. Approximate measurements (taken flat and doubled where appropriate): waist - 28in, hips - 41in, front rise - 14in, back rise - 16in, inseam - 10in. Tagged RANDOLPH DUKE and MARTHA INTERNATIONAL. Preowned/vintage with signs of wear: some missing beads here and there, price reflects condition (see last image for example).
