Vintage Armando del Storti Needlepoint Tapestry Clutch Italian Windmill Brass

Vintage needlepoint tapestry clutch with a seaside landscape scene, crafted by Armando del Storti, an Italian weaver known for their intricate tapestry designs. This clutch has such a quaint yet elegant style - think Victorian meets cottagecore. The scene depicted features a windmill lighthouse, a cottage, and a sailboat in a seaside landscape. The center scene is surrounded by a lush floral border for a delicate and feminine style. The sides / frame are made of brass etched with a wavy design for even more detail. The clutch opens in a clamshell design with a hinged clasp, and the interior features an elegant burgundy lining with two small slip pockets. The original matching comb is included. Measures approximately 6" x 4" x 2" This clutch is in excellent condition with only minor calls outs to be expected of a vintage piece. The brass has some scuffs, and the brass topcoat has partially worn away on the clasp. The gold paint on the comb has worn away in some spots. Overall, a really lovely handbag. No stains, no rips, no tears, no mold, no odors. Smoke free home
