I’ve had this for a few years, but I’ve never worn it! I bought it on Etsy; it’s a gorgeous antique style engagement ring. Setting is 935 Argentium silver, center stone is a European cut Moissanite. I can’t remember the size, but it looks to be about 1.5-1.75 ct. Total carat weight of center and side stones is about 2 ct, imo. It’s a size 5.75, apprx. Will come in ring box pictured. Pic #1 is a stock photo.

hello! are all the stones in this ring moissanite? and do they pass the diamond tester?

@jazpeth I don’t have a diamond tester; I’ve never tested them or had them tested. I just wasn’t worried about it, honestly. I bought this ring from Adorn Jewelry on Etsy, feel free to examine further. But I mean, for $35, does it really matter?

@shoefloozy actually, yes, it does matter. If I buy something, I want it to be authentic, no matter the price.

@jazpeth Fair enough. The stones were represented to me as Moissanite—and I do believe they are—but seeing as Moissanites, lab created diamonds, CZs, white “sapphires,” white “topazes,” etc., etc., are all inexpensive alternatives to mined diamonds, I only cared that it was a really pretty, blood-free silver travel ring when I bought it.

@shoefloozy I completely understand! I just prefer moissanite because it keeps it's luster like a diamond without becoming cloudy and it's hard enough not to scratch. I'm hard on my jewelry sometimes.

@jazpeth I get that. I’d love to assure you those stones are what I believe they are, but I’m just can’t be 100% sure. It’s kind of a … delicate? … ring, too—or maybe it just seems more dainty to me because of the style? I’m not sure. Most Edwardian/Victorian stuff seems kind of fragile, even when it’s not, you know? It’s a gorgeous ring—I just can’t swear it’s what you need. 😉
