Finland Arabia/Finel Kaj Franck Enamel Bowl in Ritari

Finnish design lovers know that Kaj Franck is a staple. This enamel bowl has some damage around the rim, as shown, however we all have different thresholds when it comes to wear and tear. This bowl is from the 1960s in the medieval style "Ritari" pattern by Kaj Franck for Arabia / Finel of Finland. I have a collection of these and use some for fruit bowls, sometimes I fill with ice as a wine cooler or to serve appetizera. Due to its age, I wouldn't recommend, you know, licking it or eating directly from it. If you want to get nerdy, Kaj Franck's Iittala Teema and Kartio series are some of his other well-known works and legacy. Measures 8 1/4in diameter x 5 3/4in tall.
