From a 1930s ad: "Bold Stripes are in the rich glowing colors only really fine wool takes. Soft, thick, fleecy, about the warmest jacket you can buy! Double Breasted with big convertible button up collar, roomy flap pockets, good looking buttons, belt and buckle" Made in Canada Weighs 5lbs 6 oz Condition notes: As stated on the dry cleaner's tag, the stains were examined and cannot be removed without potentially damaging the coat (cleaned on Dec 1, 2024). There is a general patina to the wool, and some spots have discoloration from age; yellowing is common. Structurally, this coat is in fabulous condition. The satin lining is fully intact with one discoloration mark (shown in lining photo).
