Rare Vintage Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver Turquoise Butterfly Brooch

This beautiful .925 sterling butterfly pin is exquisite and it is rare to find one in such impeccable condition. Most have their antennae broken off or bent out of shape. It is adorned with two delicate snake eye turquoise stones and marked on the back with the Taxco eagle hallmark as well as a .925 sterling silver purity stamp, “hecho in Mexico,” and the initials FM which likely are the initials of the artist who created it. It measures 1.5” tall by 1.75” wide and weighs 5 grams. It would also make a lovely pendant using a brooch converter. Questions?
