This antique decanter and shot glass set is an example of Bohemian Glass craftmanship dating back to the late 19th or early 20th century. The set includes a beautiful hand-blown decanter with stopper and six matching shot glasses. The set dimensions are: Decanter: 10" H Top of Stopper 7.25" H Top of Decanter x 4" Diameter Shot Glasses: 2 5/8" H x 1.75" Diameter This decanter set is in exceptional condition consistent with age and use with the exception of the Hand-Blown Decanter Stopper. NOTE: The gold finish and accents on the Hand-Blown Decanter Stopper Gold Finish are worn-all other finishes are in excellent condition. The glass craftsmen created the cranberry red glass by adding gold chloride to the glass mixture during production to give it its distinctive color. Bohemian glassmakers were renowned for their intricate hand-painted designs, often incorporating floral motifs and gold accents.
