Beautiful collectible artisan signed Raku pot by Michael Weinberg, b. 1953 d. 2016. The metallic shades of gold, copper, and turquoise are separated by a solid black band at the lip of the bowl, and in concentric ridges below the metallic pattern. The interior of the vessel is finished in a teal crackle glaze. Inscribed on bottom base Weinberg. The approximate dimensions of this stunning Raku bowl are 8 1/8 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall. The base of the bowl has a diameter of 2 3/4 inches and the bowl opening is 3 3/4 inches in diameter. This collectible bowl is in excellent preloved condition with no cracks, chips, breaks or repairs. Minor white specks noted on black base, as well as 1 on the lip of the bowl-see photos.
