Simpson Hall Miller & Co. silver butter dish. It is a Victorian piece dating from circa 1882-1899. The dish plus lid is 5” high and 7.5” from handle to handle. The dish lid is adorned with floral decorations and includes a 2/8” thick glass insert. The inside bottom of the dish below the glass is adorned with a floral pattern and two bees. Dish is quadruple plate made in Wallingford, Connecticut.
