Exterior is a darker black color lighting from outside makes it a little lighter. Has a few open pockets inside and a zipper pocket. Has an outside zipper pocket. Zips closed with two zippers that go down the sides 3/4 of the way. All zippers work great. No rips or tears. No stains that I noticed. Estimated measurements are 15x12 All measurements tapes are different and I tried to get a good measurement. This can hold a laptop no more than 13-14 inches. Plenty of room inside to hold many items
