Hailing from the highly coveted Spring/Summer 2023 collection under Sarah Burton's creative direction, this premium variation represents the pinnacle of the house's romantic gothic glamour. The clutch is meticulously crafted from a rich, velvety Oxblood / Dark Plum calf suede (Color Code: 6010) built over a structured hard-shell frame. The true centerpiece is the breathtaking gold-tone brass 4-finger knuckle handle. It features an incredibly intricate, sculptural assembly of fine filigree-winged cicadas and honeybees nestled alongside a classic punk skull encrusted with brilliant, oversized Swarovski crystals. The insect bodies are finished with multi-faceted, dark amethyst-toned gemstone crystals that beautifully complement the oxblood suede. jgajewski@paizic they are amazing pieces of wearable art! I was going to keep the dragonfly clutch just to look at but it needs to be seen out in the world or be somewhere it can be displayed. I’m fortunate to have so many vintage items from Him. (I have newer collection items also but his pieces and earlier McQueen are my fav) Such a talent..gone way too soon, 🖤💀🦋🤍

paizic@jgajewski yea, saddened by a thought about boud He left in the world of Art, obviously possessed by tbe notion of Death, as a darkness eventually..... Another artist whose work was deeply influenced by the concept of death, and how that preoccupation ultimately mirrored his own end. It's a powerful and often melancholic theme in art, where artists grapple with mortality and the inevitable darkness that comes for us all.
