This striking modernist cuff showcases the clean geometric aesthetic that made Jack Woolsey a pioneer in mid-century jewelry design. The creamy bone inlay creates bold rectangular accents against the substantial sterling silver construction, embodying the sophisticated Southwest modernist movement of the 1960s era. Woolsey learned traditional techniques from Navajo silversmiths around Taos, New Mexico, then revolutionized the craft with his contemporary vision.
NOTE: Apparently this style of cuff may be a variation on a piece that has more filled in inlay work surrounding the bone, filling in the design. Selling as is and can be worn as is — or you may want to find a silversmith to add other inlay panels. Price has been adjusted accordingly.
