Up for sale is a 1969-D Lincoln Memorial Penny featuring two major mint errors highly sought after by collectors: 🔍 Error Highlights: • Floating Roof: The roof of the Lincoln Memorial appears detached, a known and collectible die error. • Partially Missing FG Initials: Designer Frank Gasparro’s initials (“FG”) are mostly absent from the right side of the base of the Memorial—another recognized error type. 📌 Details: • Year: 1969 • Mint Mark: D (Denver) • Condition: Circulated – Please review high-resolution photos for exact detail. • Material: 95% copper • Weight: Approx. 3.11g 🧠 These types of mint errors are believed to be the result of worn or over-polished dies—making them rare and unique examples of production flaws during the era. 💎 A great find for error coin collectors, Lincoln cent specialists, or anyone looking to own a unique piece of U.S. minting history. 📦 Ships securely and with care. 💬 Feel free to message with any questions or offers!

dplatoonThe FG is not absent if you enlarge the picture. It looks worn off. The floating roof may be good, however why don’t you have this graded if you believe it’s worth this. The price would be more appealing with professional grading being what you think it is.
