Louis Vuitton X Murakami Superflat Petite Malle Exceptional, numbered piece from the celebration of the collaboration that changed the world of fashion- French luxury powerhouse Louis Vuitton and Japanese pop art phenomenon Takashi Murakami. This piece for the re-release draws on three eras of Louis Vuitton- its beginning as a trunk maker, the collaboration introduced under the Marc Jacobs era, and the innovation of Nicholas Ghesquiere to turn the LV trunk into a bag wearable for everyday. Drawing on the House’s archival trunks, it is crafted in a boxy shape from Monogram canvas trimmed with dark cowhide leather edges and a gleaming golden S-lock clasp, while the front and back are printed with bold Monogram Flower blooms that have been reimagined in the Japanese artist’s signature superflat style. Comes with detachable strap so it can be worn as a cross body or shoulder bag in addition to as a clutch.
