Hi again. I just want to make sure that when worn as a crossbody, the bag would fit over a coat? Is it long enough for that?

The strap is adjustable so it should! I do think it depends on what kind of coat. A light jacket, jean jacket, trench I would say no problem. A winter ski jacket might be a tighter fit.
