This is a gorgeous vintage butterfly brooch pin made of genuine carved nephrite stone set in a prong-style gold vermeil over sterling setting. The brooch is signed with the maker's mark initial “A" and the word “Sterling.” This original, handmade piece measures approximately 2.25”W (57.15 mm) x 1.25”H (31.75 mm). Both the quality of the nephrite stone and the carving are truly beautiful with no chipping or damage. Also, there is very minimal scratching and wear to the gold on this piece.
