It is rare to find an unworn, untouched vintage scarf with no flaws. I personally think the flaws add character and are part of the items history - who wore it, where was it worn, what city might they have been in, maybe they spilt champagne during a toast or coffee after a meal, could the makeup stain be from colorful lipstick or from a tear? Was it worn by one person or many? I do my best to spot clean what I can, press them and look over for any flaws and then note that in the listing.
