Vintage Weiss Large Elegant Aurora Borealis Crystal Brooch

Stunning rhinestone brooch with the outer circle and the larger central stone being coated with aurora borealis finish which reflects a rainbow of colours. Albert Weiss founded his company in New York in 1942 and the height of his success was during the glamour of the 1950's 1960's period. There is a signature to the back of this brooch WEISS. It is still in perfect condition, a testament to the quality of their pieces. Measurement of the brooch is 2 inches across, set in silver tone metal. There is a firm roll over safety clasp.
