100% silk strapless A-line ballgown from the renowned designer Anne Barge (Fall 2015 collection). This timeless wedding dress will make your Grace Kelly dreams come true! Delicate alençon lace adorns the corset bodice, and subtle beading adds a bit of sparkle. The bodice has structured boning, hitting right at the natural waist. My favorite details are the pleats in the back, which add shape and volume to the chapel length train. There’s a few layers of built-in crinoline underneath the skirt, and horsehair lines the hem of the silk outer layer. IT HAS POCKETS! :) Size 4, hemmed for 5’5” (that’s with heels) and taken in a at the bust, I’d say it’s a true size 2 now. My measurements are 32B and a 26 waist. This will fit a short bride who has a relatively short torso. A 3-point bustle has been added. This was purchased through an Anne Barge trunk show. Retails at $5500. The quality of the structured build, long train, and materials (100% silk, beading, & French hand-made lace) all come together to make an understated, timeless, luxurious gown. There is some staining on the bottom hem from dragging the ground. This has not been professionally cleaned, though I have gently washed the hem with soap and water. I am so happy that I got to wear this dress during the best day of my life, and I’m ready to pass this along to the next bride. I’m open to offers.

fuzzy656e Hello. This is a very lovely dress. I am looking at this gown for a slightly taller bride. Was the hem in front cut away or is there room on the hem for the gown to be let down longer? Thank you for your time in this!

howdy_grace @fuzzy656e Hi, thanks for your interest! Unfortunately the extra hem had been cut away, so there’s nothing to let out. The seamstress added horsehair at the bottom hem for structure. I do also have the scrap from the original hem, about 5-6 inches at the longest part, all in one piece. Not sure if that could be added back on, just depends on the seamstress! Hope this helps.

martin26x Do you think this dress would fit/could be altered to fit a D cup in the bust?

howdy_grace @martin26x hi! There is one inch to let out in the bust at the zipper, so potentially. However, I think because the cups are built in the bust of the dress, it would require a lot of restructure work. I recommend you send pics to a seamstress who could take a look, I am not experienced in that at all.

howdy_grace @jeni7jk hi! The length from the top of the bust to the bottom on the front is approximately 48 inches. I was a short bride :) The train is significantly longer

jeni7jk @gracevicb I’m 5’2, but I think with shoes it might be too short :/ thanks for the response, it’s a beautiful dress!

howdy_grace @jeni7jk no worries! Yes I am a short bride and I wore low heels. And with the horsehair, these no hem to let out I’m afraid. Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions! Thanks for looking❤️ and congrats💍
