Outsole Treatment The leather outsoles were professionally waterproofed using a high-grade Hermès leather care method. This treatment required removal of the manufacturer’s temporary plastic covering & is reflected in the listed price. Wear History Tried on once with socks post-treatment. Walked a few steps on carpet and tile. Slight darkening is visible on portions of the anti-skid inlay; this occurred during the waterproofing process & is not from wear. Material & Fit Notes While described as calf leather, the material feels more like lambskin—extremely soft, pliable, & nearly structureless. They wear like slippers & require no break-in period. Sizing Note Intended to purchase size 40, but size 41 was the only option available at the time. Planned to wear with thick socks to compensate, but never did.
