karadanielle25@jodani613 opening is appx: 8.25"w x 4"D. Total Dimensions: appx 9" w x 4.5" d x 8.25"h including the height of the feet. handle drop is just over 5". As far as keeping them upright, I'm not positive. There are screws on each that may tighten to give you this option! But I havent tried myself
