Corningware Browning Skillet- Norelco Microwave

Vintage Corningware Norelco 10inch Microwave Browning Skillet. This piece represents Corning’s collaboration with various manufacturers of the latest technology of that era- microwave ovens. This piece has the footed metallic browning bottom & “Meat, Fish, Poultry” pattern commissioned by Norelco🥩🐟🍗. Measurements shown in pics. . These pieces were made to be used in the microwave only due to the gray coating on the bottom of the pan. The coating, Tin-Oxide, absorbs microwave energy and heats up the pan which allows for browning. Using it on stovetop or in the oven will eventually damage the coating and it will lose its microwave browning properties. Have questions or want more pics? Just Ask😀 .
