Does it appear to be easy to shorten just the back of the dress without it altering the overall shape of the dress?

@lyn319 thatβs a great question! I believe hemming the dress would be incredibly simple, whether by hand, machine or using hem tape and an iron.

@bellacesca1981 thanks. The issues of being short! The asymmetrical hem is fine in the front but would need a couple of inches off in the back. It looks like itβs separated by a slit?

@lyn319 youβre not short, everyone else is too tall 𧑠it has a kind of tucked, wrap around look in front so itβs less of a slit and more one part of the dress comes in front of the other. But the entire hem - regardless of where it lays - is one piece of material and Iβm only a basic sewer (sewist? Needle person?) and can confidently say that with minimal effort the cut + lay of the dress can be maintained, just shorter than it is now π₯°
