Sue Sachs Sterling Silver Modernist Handwrought Heart Shaped Post back Earrings for pierced ears (Solid Sterling with a matte finish) These beautiful earrings were designed and crafted by Modernist artist Sue Sachs. Sue has been making jewelry, and crafting metal objects for more then 30 years from her studio in Livingston, New jersey; where she also offers classes and workshops. Very cool! In her own words she states: "I work on each piece individually. Slight variations in color and design are proof of the process." I'm not sure about dating on these particular earrings, so they may or may not be vintage. However, from the information I have been able to gather they do seem to be an earlier design. For post back earrings, these are somewhat heavy a bit under 7 grams each. So keep this in mind. They have developed a bit of beautiful patina, very little signs of wear, however please see photos, as 1 post is slightly bent. otherwise, very nice condition.
