This hand-painted chapati parat basket is a beautiful blend of function and folk art. Traditionally used for serving or storing chapati, it features a woven base with a lacquered and decorated lid. Measures 8" outer diameter (7" inner) and 3.5" tall with the lid. The lacquer has some cracks, especially on the rim, and the woven base shows wear (see photos), but it still holds its charm.
