This brown fedora is 100% fur felt and made in Canada. Though not as well-known as its English (Lock& Co) or Italian (Borsalino) hat making brethren, Magill, nevertheless, has been a family-owned business since 1895. The brim is 2 inches with a 4.5-inch crown and a 1.5-inch grosgrain band. This hat is satin lined with a leather headband. It was purchased at NYC's oldest hat shop, JJ Hatters on Fifth Ave. The box shown in the picture will come with this hat (a similar box is $22.50 on JJ's website). The box is perfect for storing and carrying this fedora as well as any hat with an oval crown.
