VTG Pedigreed Thoroughbred Brown Fur Cowboy Hat Sz 22”Moleskin Finish Classic Vintage Cowboy Hat in Medium Brown.This is a Thoroughbred--a Hat with Pedigree--A Hat with Guarantee. It is hand finished and a Pedigree Thoroughbred Registered. It is moleskin finish Ten X Quality -- indicating a higher quality. It is also noted to be made of imported coney fur. It was sold by Morris Men's Shop Stock Yard Inn, attached to the Chicago Stockyards which closed in 1971. It has a leather band at juncture of crown. Twisted vinyl chin ties are accented with silver tone pulls--a further sign of quality. Size: amongst all the labels--no size label. I am measuring this as 4 1/2" tall crown; 3 1/2" brim and 22" inner band circumference.
