F.P. Journe Leather Belt With .925 Sterling Silver Buckle

This is a VERY exquisite gentlemen's belt that was gifted by F.P. Journe. The buckle was hand forged of .925 Sterling Silver which is jewelry quality. Star 1859AR in rectangle is the Makers mark. The leather is fine, black on the front and natural on the obverse. F.P. Journe Invenit et Fecit is embossed on the back (meaning "Invented and made" in Latin). The leather can be changed to replace color, or when it wears by actuating the screw on the reverse to release the buckle and change it out. You most certainly do NOT want to inadvertently throw out this buckle. In its ENTIRETY from beginning of buckle to the end tip of the belt is 43" long and 1.25" wide. Buckle to prong: 1st hole: 34", 2nd hole: 35", 3rd hole: 36", 4th hole: 37", 5th hole: 38" The belt has never been worn and the buckle was tarnished. I did polish the buckle lightly. It will come to you in the box as shown (the box shows some signs of wear from storage)
