These are a shell type pant, not puffy insulated pant. I ski in the Northeast and wore with Smartwool and felt great. Totally cut wind. Good for skinning. Adjustable waist, ideal for women! These are designed FOR women, really nice cut.

rosamarzi@radam25 then I think they'd be great. I prefer non-stretchy because generally speaking non-stretchy does better at blocking wind. I'm out east and we often have cold, biting windy conditions. These are totally wind blocking.

rosamarzi@radam25 They are super well cut, designed for women's bodies. I am only selling them because I gained a bit of weight and now wear a large. They sit at a nice spot on your waist, not low rise, and not so high waisted that you are uncomfortable when seated. The pockets are PERFECT. Did you have a specific question about fit?

rosamarziI am a runner so also of the quad build. They are not stretchy but I never found them restrictive at all. Do you ski or snowboard?
