STEIFF Pair Vintage Estate Leo The Lion and Lioness JOINTED Stuffed Animal Toys

PAIR of vintage, fully jointed Steiff stuffed animals (one lion and a lioness) with glass eyes from my family’s personal estate collection. Both have Steiff metal ear tags present; lioness has fabric content label tag attached to that as well. She also has remnants of a fabric tag inserted in her front right leg. (Made in US Zone) - a label used only between 1947 and 1953. (Photographed.) Leo retains his paper STEIFF tag in the center of his mane. Writing marks on the back. 16” x 8” (Lion) 16” x 7” (Lioness) ** Measurements approximate and taken with both tails outstretched - (tips of noses to tails.) Lion’s tail is 6”; Lioness’ is 5”. Smaller set and similar set for sale elsewhere for the sake of comparison. Both are in great condition with no moth damage. Their whiskers look good and joints are in working order.
