❌ SOLD ON Ⓜ️ ❌ Vintage Louis Vuitton Pliante Clutch

This Louis Vuitton Monogram Pochette Pliante Clutch “folding clutch” was produced in 1979 & was recently cleaned, it’s in wonderful condition. All of the hardware has been cleaned and polished and is fully functional. The interior leather & exterior canvas has been thoroughly cleaned and polished as well. The exterior vachetta/cowhide was previously redone & therefore does not have much patina/darkening to it. Unsnapping the front and unfolding the bag exposes a separate zipped compartment, which is also in great condition. This bag was made in France & measures 12” x 8.5” in size. Despite its age, over 45 years old, it is in remarkable condition. There are no major stains, scratches or wear on the edges. The piping is intact, the leather is still in great shape, no chafing or stickiness and no odors. ✨Please note, this bag does not have a date code, as it was produced in 1979 & LV didn’t start using date codes until 1980-1982, however it does have a heat stamp, which was the measure of authenticity prior to the use of date codes. Also of note, LV didn’t produce & use their own zippers until the mid-1980’s, all zippers prior were produced by 3rd party suppliers - - Eclair, Talon, Robin, & Coats & Clark.
