barrykaplan I’m a vintage Seiko watch guy who struggles with Poshmark. My apologies, but I dont know how to discuss your counteroffer privately, so here is my explanation/analysis of this watch. The original bracelet is missing, the crystal is so worn it needs replacment, the crown/stem is bent, the case shows proof of a hard life. It doesn't run, which could be from a battery leak, making this watch pretty much worthless. This may be "rare" but that doesn't make it valuable.

barrykaplan You say this watch needs an expert. Here is my evaluation: even if its possible, fixing this watch to wear is economically nonviable because the parts alone would cost more than its worth (and that’s assuming you gave me the watch). Ive purchased running Pulsar Y513s for $20-25, yours isnt running. I only made an offer because I can use the hands from this watch on a project.

barrykaplan That’s the value to me and I feel I was generous at $20 only because I could use the hands. I can wait and find a runner with the same hands, pay $25 and have a working movement with coil and have the hands I need. I have no idea how long this has been listed, but it’s a parts watch, not a watch to restore
