Tilso was an import company founded by L. Batlin and Sons after the great depression. Originally an antique store, Batlin named Tilson after his wife, Tillie, and daughter, Sonia, and really came into his own after World War II, bringing beautiful collectibles from Japan to the United States. This is a really lovely chocolate and pink agate style glaze featuring an adorable Boxer and her four puppies. There is a gold tone chain that links mom to three of her babies.
