You mention these fit more like a 30, can you measure the waist? I have another pair of these jeans that I love in this same size but Levi's sizing can be so inconsistent!

@forestgal sorry for the delay. I washed and dried them, lying flat waist measures 15" across. I am finding Levi sizing to be inconsistent as well! let me know if you need anything else.
