These are two weighted folk art pieces of Raggedy ann and Andy, no maker-a mark, designed to look old, plus there is some natural age on the pieces. I have not cleaned them, I will let the new owner determine if they want that. They seem to be filled with a sand or tiny beans & are decorative, not dolls for children as toys! They have a cute, folk art feel celebrating the classic characters of Raggedy ann and andy from a gentler era. Mine is a smoke free, cat free home. I purchased them in a lot of Raggedy Ann's and had a duplicate set in the box. Great for the doll collectors. approx. 5 inches tall. I ship in clean, recycled materials.

ambermoonhollow@ragdollannie293 No offense taken. I once bought a mohair bear that reeked of cigarettes. It took weeks to clean. I didn't detect any odors in these but they may be dusty because they are probably 30 yrs old.

ragdollannie293The discoloration resembles nicotine - is that the case? Also that sticker on the bottom makes me think commercially produced rather than artisan made, which they appear to be?

ambermoonhollow@ragdollannie293 They were manufactured to look artisan-vintagey. I have seen some like this from Hallmark. In the 90s they made dolls to look old and would stain them as these are. I am not claiming Laura Ingalls made them, I am sure some corp. or craft maker created them. Maybe they are not a good match for you?

ragdollannie293Meant no offense - don't mind tea stained vintage look at all, but DO mind nicotine stain/odor! No way to tell difference from photos, so when not mentioned I ask. Been "stung" more than once.
