lmoye0 @bendigami hi! I am so sorry I missed seeing your question yesterday. I just added pictures with my tape measure to make sure I'm measuring from the right place :) its just barely over 2.5” to the heel. Thank you!

lmoye0 @topeagle1 hi! Sorry for just seeing this question! I actually don't know that it necessarily needs to be attached because it doesn't feel like the leather piece will slide through. But it looks like the shoe just has one stitch right at top that seems like it wouldn’t be hard to do. I'll try to get a picture of the stitch. Thanks!
