The history behind this sweater is amazing.
Pringle was established in 1815 and continues today making fine luxury sweaters and other clothing. W. Bill Ltd. Was founded in North Wales in 1846 but soon branched out and moved to London in 1892. Their clothing is high-end and was worn by the Duke of Windsor as well as a celebrity following. Until 1988, the firm was run by decendents of William Bill. The company was sold in 1990 however their fabrics and clothing remain in high demand due to the quality.
The color is a shade of apricot & is 100% cashmere. Absolute perfect condition- this sweater is everything.
Dates 1950’s possibly earlier. There is no size tag- measurements below.
