Mariam jasper, aka coquina, formed when the Himalayas rose into the sky. It is compressed bone, vegetation and shell from an ancient swamp which was compressed by the incredible forces involved in the mountains creation: soft, not completely fossilized. Mariam jasper, gemstone oval, pendant necklace jewelry/jewellery, ~1.5 inch stone cabochon, NWOT, silver plate on a silver plate chain, unisex, attractive beige, golden browns, and greys, neutral colours.
