blobbycat @anisa_am I’m looking at them right now and if you’re talking about the caramel looking color in the corner between the rubber and fabric, l am pretty sure that is glue that they used to make the shoes. These are not new shoes. They are from the Y2K era (late 1990s and early 2000s) They are in pretty good shape for that era.
