1930s Vintage Brass Filigree Big Red Stone Pin Brooch

It takes lots of fancy stamped brass filigree to get a hold on this big bold red glass facet-cut stone pin. This gorgeous red color makes cherries, merlot and rubies feel inadequate. And the big red stone with its gold painted back even has an entourage of four small rhinestones to boost it into the red stratosphere. The intricate filigree creates the perfect frame for the flaming red. Pin measures 2 by 2 inches. Secure rollover clasp. Has a very Czech-made look but is unmarked. Circa 1930s.
