Pods has a unique code under rim - machine reads to code to know how to brew/which size. App records this code and will give an error that you "are not allowed" to reuse. (The nerve...) + The only value of connecting to the app is ordering coffee + Nespresso just wants you to buy their coffee and not use your own + I brewed my own coffee in reusable pods just fine, then I connected to see what the app was all about, got errors, couldn't brew.
