Gomes His creations from the 40s and 50s are known for geometric shapes surrounding beautiful gemstones, and this stunning pendant fits right into his signature, hard-to-find style but at a better price-point than his more elaborate sets and pieces Blue stone has lovely character in its occlusions - not sure if it is sodalite, blue jasper, or another gemstone - has a special presence. Comparing it to other blue jasper pieces seems like the best match, but he produced similar settings with other sodalite centerpieces. Either way, the choice has lovely figuring and coloration.
