Mermaid’s purse belt buckle – 40mm – a pewter openwork belt buckle with an embossed design. This buckle has a hinged bar for the belt to clip onto and the other end has a strong prong to push through the hole in the belt. The Celts used knotwork to decorate many of their artifacts.
