RARE vintage Sugarcane slubby Japanese denim jeans

Really unique Japanese denim in a light blue color. Color variation in the slubby warp yarns between slightly darker blues and natural ecru cotton color creates a beautiful textured brushstroke effect. Bright colored Japanese tattoo style artwork of dragons on both front pocket bags as well as the leather patch. Rivets are solid copper, not the faux cap rivets found on mass manufactured jeans. Button fly. Tags are missing but this is clearly 100% cotton, fairly heavy and durable cloth but also well broken in, with a vintage drape and softness. Beautiful, one-of-a-kind jeans with no discernable wear on the denim itself. 29" waist 29" inseam 11" front rise (high rise) 8" leg opening Minor damage to inseam in the crotch area (stitching, not a blown out crotch) which I am happy to repair myself before shipping on request.
