The waist of a size 8 I would think is 29" or so? It says 16 so not sure. Is this inches? Looking for 29" waist.

Hi! The measurements were taken with the garment laying flat. So about 16 inches in the front and about 16 inches in the back. I would say about 32β total. Hope this helps!!
