Vintage Fabric Handbag ~ CB Made in USA ~ Satin Lining ~ Attached Coin Purse A sweet little brown bag ready for your vintage wardrobe. Brown linen-feel exterior fabric, hinged handle & opening, gold-tone clasp. Interior is a pretty satin-feel fabric in a slightly lighter shade. Attached coin purse (where maker's faded stamp appears -see photo). Classic 1940s-1950s (or so...) style. A well-made item in nice vintage condition with some dust accretion and signs of normal use. Fabric exterior allows to add a brooch embellishment, or perhaps hook a jeweled bracelet to the handle? Small loop under the clasp accommodates a brooch (see example). Brand is "CB", notes Made in USA. This is not a vintage brand familiar to me...you? Perfect pairing with the brown dress shown in photo that is posted separately - bundle for discount! Will need "stuffed" with a towel or packing paper to reshape. A faint perfume odor to bag - not horrible and it has faded since being unpacked. My home is smoke & pet free.
